the puppet show

Today there is a puppet show in the gift shop!
Locals love puppet shows. They gather at the bookstore, chatting and laughing. Children can sit in front row seats so they can see everything, and parents and other residents sit further back.
The puppet theater curtain is closed, but you can hear a lot of whispering and giggling behind it. From time to time, she moves a little bit.
– I can't wait to see this! - Zebra Zig speaks to the twin sister, Zag.

- Me neither. I'm thinking about what it will be. I hope you have a princess and a prince. And maybe a dragon.
Mr. Horse, the mayor, climbs onto his soap box and goes “Huh! Hmm” until the villagers were quiet. He doesn't need the speaker today, but he wishes he could use it.
– My dear fellow residents, welcome to the puppet show. Today's show is called “The Princess Rescue”. I hope you all like it!
He climbs down from the soap box and the curtain slowly opens. Within minutes, everyone is living in the enchanted castle where the princess lives. The dragon is scary and gives off fire, but the prince saves her and they live happily ever after.
Residents applaud and cheer for a long time.
- Wow! This one was fantastic! – excites Zag.
- And the prince and princess were so romantic! - Zag sighs.
There's ice cream for everyone now. What an amazing day!
