Goulash

Hungarian soup made from beef, onions and paprika, accompanied by potatoes. The nomadic tribes of the ninth century sought food suited to their way of life. They were already eating slices of meat cooked over a low heat with onions. In the camps, they prepared a soup by cooking this meat in water with radishes. Later, paprika and potatoes were added to the dish. Paprika is a powdered spice made from red peppers.
