The word “pasta” is approximately 25 centuries old and comes from the Greek makaria. Means broth enriched from pieces of flour and mixed with cereals. Only in the Middle Ages (476 d. C.), the term came to be used to indicate different types of pasta. One of the oldest evidence of macaroni reveals that _____ Assyrians and Babylonians, around 2500 a. C., they knew a product based on cereals and cooked with water. The word “spaghetti” comes from the Italian
