Once upon a time there was a prince who loved to eat bread.
He ate bread and butter for breakfast! He ate bread and sauce for lunch! He ate bread and honey at tea time! And he ate bread and soup for dinner! Sometimes he even ate bread at midnight, with a little milk!
One day he made a proclamation that he would award a grand prize to the baker who baked the rarest of breads! The bakers set to bake. The entire nation was filled with the aroma of baked bread. And what different scents! There was cherry bread, cinnamon bread, pudding bread, and even pineapple bread! The bakers outdid themselves in an attempt to win the prince's prize.
The prince tasted every loaf that was baked in his kingdom and could not decide on a winner. Every single slice was so delicious… He rewarded every baker and built a bakery palace!
