Since he was a little boy, the prince played with bows and arrows. He grew up to be an amazing young archer who loved target shooting.
When it came to his time to find a wife, he wasn't very interested in any of the princesses he knew. They all seemed only interested in smart clothes and dancing.
– What a waste of time! - murmured the prince and left for the forest with his bow and arrows.
Then, one day, the Queen Mother invited four princesses to meet the Prince.
“These are the only ones left, son. Try to choose well!
The prince dutifully dined with the princesses, but showed no interest in any of them. After dinner, instead of dancing with them, he took refuge in the forest with his bow and arrows. Then, he saw a little red leaf at the top of a tree. With great concentration, he shot an arrow at her. However, even before his arrow could hit the target, the little red leaf came floating down. That's when he saw the eldest princess, with a bow slung over her back, picking up the leaf with a smile!
The happy prince knew his choice had been made!
