The Marble Cathedral (Marble Cathedral) is a mineral formation of calcium carbonate, on the shores of Lake General Carrera, in Chilean Patagonia. Over the years, lake waters have eroded coastal cliffs, creating the formations above. When the lake is at a lower level, it is possible to navigate inside the structures in small boats. In addition to the Cathedral, other mineral formations form islets located a few meters from the shore of the lake: they are the Marble Chapel (
