Located approximately 199 km from Belo Horizonte, Desterro do Melo is a city that stands out for its natural charm.
It is a municipality extremely linked to the ecological nature. The architectural complex is characterized by churches, parks and old houses.
Waterfalls, trails and mountains are the most visited tourist attractions in the city, as they provide, in addition to a wonderful view, pleasant moments of leisure close to nature.
In Parque do Xopotó, the machinery of the city's old power plant is located. The park is one of the most visited in Desterro do Melo and has a good infrastructure that has courts, playground, snack bar, bathrooms and delicious waterfalls.
