The Magic Shop of Mr. Magorium is a toy paradise where everything comes to life, including the store itself. One day mr. Edward Magorium, who is 243 years old, decides to cede control of his establishment to the insecure young manager Molly Mahoney. When skeptical accountant Henry Weston shows up to audit all the toys, the store undergoes a mysterious change. Toys, before cheerful and colorful, become silent and grey. To get the place back, Molly and Henry will need to find the magic within themselves, enlisting the help of Eric Applebaum, a 9-year-old boy who has trouble making friends.
