IN BRAZIL, MUCH OF THE ELECTRIC ENERGY THAT REACHES OUR HOMES COMES FROM HYDROELECTRIC PLANTS, BECAUSE OUR COUNTRY HAS MANY RIVERS.
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A HYDROELECTRIC POWER PLANT, IT IS NECESSARY THAT THERE IS A RIVER WITH A LARGE AMOUNT OF WATER. INITIALLY IT IS NECESSARY TO BUILD A DAM TO FORM A RESERVOIR. WHERE THE RIVER FLOWS BEFORE THE DAM, A GENERATOR WITH GEARS THAT WILL ROTATE WITH THE PASSAGE OF WATER AND GENERATE ELECTRIC ENERGY IS INSTALLED.
