Being native to Mediterranean countries, the garden fish is found in areas with a temperate climate. As much as it is grown as an ornamental plant, due to the beauty of its velvety leaves, the fish has become part of vegetable cuisine, gaining prominence in vegetarian dishes.

For the gastronomic preparation, planting is done directly in the definitive place, from clumps. The first harvest usually takes place after the second month, when the leaf reaches between 8cm and 15cm in length. […]
