NAME:
The Baby Sheep should be taking a nap. But he's not. He saw a piece of gum on his mother's desk and picked it up.
“I can't chew gum, only when Mom lets it,” he thinks, snuggling into the pillow.
However, he ends up putting the gum in his mouth.
It tastes sweet and is soft and chewy. Baby falls asleep. He later wakes up. He wants to get up, but he can't get his head off the pillow.
- Help! Help! Mom, help! - He screams and starts crying trying to get his head off.
Mom comes running to his room. She looks at Baby and starts laughing.
– Oh, Baby, did you get that piece of gum off my desk? - she asks.
– Yes Mom, I'm sorry! – Baby sobs.
- Well it fell out of your mouth when you were sleeping and stuck your wool in the pillow! – Let's untie you.
Mom carefully pulls the pillow away from Baby's fur. The gum stretches and finally breaks. But there's still a lot of gum in his fur.
“Come with me to the kitchen,” says Mom. – First, I'll put ice in the gum.
When he gets cold, I'll be able to get him out of his fur.
Before long, she says:
– Now there's just a little bit. “She rubs peanut butter on her gum, and in a second it comes off.
– Now for the bathtub. You smell like a sandwich.” She smiles.
Baby is happy because she didn't get mad. He really learned that lesson.
