the armadillo secret

The macaw Lili lived in a den along with the armadillo Casper. Before she was born, her egg had fallen from the nest, so she was born there, inside a hole in the ground.
Lili and Casper were great friends and did everything together, but the armadillo had a secret: He never told his friend she was capable of flying. So Lili went from one side of the forest to the other, running over the fallen leaves on the ground. Until one day, she came to a big clearing, and she saw big eagles flying there in the sky and she was enchanted.

Macaw Lili returned home in awe and told her armadillo friend about the creatures that were capable of flying. Casper then explained to Lili that she could do that too, just flap her wings.
“I never told you this because I thought you were going to leave and leave me alone,” Casper said, embarrassed.
– Casper, I will never leave you behind. After all, we are a family!
Lili learned to fly and became a great explorer. And Casper was her companion on all adventures.
