The boy arrived with his notebook and a world of pictures. The teacher had taught her about animals. The boy already knew, for example, that there are wild, harmful and domestic animals. That annoying cat that keeps meowing all night and doesn't let you pet him, for example, is domestic. The boy scratched his head and pasted the little picture of the cat into his notebook.
That other little animal, the mouse, that the other day passed through the kitchen and made the cook climb on top of the chair, screaming, with wooden spoon in hand, in an attitude of defense - because that one, from the rat family, is harmful. The boy laughed remembering how funny he was. And in the lesson the teacher explained that it was necessary to kill him. The boy thought: "Never!" I even wanted to play with him. He looked at the teacher very attentively, with glasses and a pointed finger, and even imagined that she was saying that because she was afraid of rats, like the fat cook. So he pasted the picture and said softly:
