NAME:
Fleeing from a fox, the chickens and the rooster climbed the tree. As the fox could not reach them from below, she cautiously said to the rooster:
– You can descend calmly, that now it has been decided to make universal peace between all birds and animals; so come down here and let's celebrate this day together!
The cock immediately understood that it was a ruse; but with dissimulation he replied:
– This news for sure is great and happy, but I'm seeing three dogs arriving. Let's wait for them and then we'll go down to celebrate all together.
But the fox, without waiting any longer, turned around saying:
- Well, I'm afraid they still don't know the news and kill me.
And so the fox left very quickly and the hens and the rooster could safely descend.
Moral: Against smartness, smartness and a half.
