Japan doesn't have many Christians – its population is mostly Buddhist – so Christmas isn't such an important date there. Still, some children receive gifts from Santa Kuroosu, as Santa Claus was baptized in the Asian country. There are also gift exchanges at schools, but she is very different from our secret friend!
