The names of the singer Demi Lovato and Justin Bieber will compose the headline of the shows. The information was given officially by the production of Rock in Rio, on social networks. The two foreign artists will perform on the world stage (main stage) on September 4th.
“Come here a lot! The official start was given for our biggest and best reunion in 2022. Justin Bieber and Demi Lovato are the names that will close the first weekend of Rock in Rio 2022, on September 4th”. This is the message published by the festival's production, on the Instagram profile.
Rock in Rio 2022 is scheduled to take place on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of September. Therefore, it will be a week full of concerts for all audiences. Practically a year from now, one of the biggest pop and rock music events in the world will take place.
Scheduled to take place in 2020, Rock in Rio needed to be scheduled for 2022. As well as several other festivals that were impacted by the new coronavirus pandemic.
Therefore, this announcement does not only cheer music fans and everyone who was waiting for a good party. Artists, musicians, merchants and various professionals are already starting to feel a certain relief. Motivation is renewed after more than a year and a half of hiatus.
Of course, until then, probably many sanitary measures will have to be maintained. However, with vaccination moving forward, this time the event should not be postponed again.
The start of sales of the Rock in Rio card (ticket) for admission has no set date yet. However, despite the day being unknown, the forecast is that it will start to be sold in 2021.
