Brazilian Myth
Ingrid Bellinghausen
Curupira is the guardian of forests and animals. It is a swift dwarf with fiery hair and green teeth. It lives in a hollow trunk of an old tree. He has inverted feet, toes back and heel forward. Thus, having fun, he always manages to outwit the hunters, who, deceived, follow Curupira's footsteps in the opposite direction.
