Know the signs and characteristics of manipulative people

Despite the fact that the most effective way to get rid of a narcissist from your life is to avoid all forms of communication and interaction with them, there are times when this is not possible. To protect yourself from as much damage as possible, it is critical to be able to recognize the most common psychological and narcissistic behaviors. Check out some below.

1. blame projection

People with a strong manipulation trait rarely, if ever, take responsibility for their actions toward one another. This is because doing so would jeopardize your credibility and raise doubts in the abusive relationship. The vast majority of manipulators will adopt a hypocritical attitude towards their victims, focusing on how they were "hurt" in some way by this person.

Furthermore, it is very common for them to cover up their actions as retaliation for the way they were treated. They have a simple rule: if you don't give me what I want, I have the right to treat you any way I want.

2. They don't respect the limits

psychological manipulators disregard limits. Your ultimate goal is to have power and control, and rigid boundaries obstruct that goal significantly. To that end, they become obsessed with testing and violating others' limits - usually starting small and then gradually increasing.

3. gaslighting

O gaslighting it can be difficult to detect, as it is a gradual process that damages the mental health of its victims. However, psychological manipulators are masters at persuading others to doubt their own reality. This is usually expressed through lies that make the victim appear untrustworthy or contradict their memory of events.
