Who is the blonde in the red dress in the memes?

This blonde is Katy, a character from the Czech animation “Goat Story” (“Story of the Goat”, in a very free translation, but “Uma Fazenda Maluca” in the “commercial” translation). And you can find it in its entirety on YouTube – even dubbed in Portuguese.

The film was released in 2008 and is about a watchmaker named Jimmy who arrives in Prague with his goat. Interacting with the locals, his path crosses Katy's and they fall in love. However, the romance will not succeed because the animal is left with

Another parallel plot also happens throughout the animation. In it, Jimmy needs to save the astronomical clock from the hands of politicians.

Goat Story? How have I never heard of this movie?

That's because the movie wasn't all that successful (we'll get to that in a moment). It had a very low budget of $1.8 million and had less than that in revenue. That is, it was considered a fiasco.

Despite this, "Goat Story" won the top prize at the Buenos Aires International Children's Film Festival in 2010. And, even with the film's low return, a sequel was made in 2012.

And there's more: this is considered the most successful Czech animation in the entire history of cinema in the country.

Why did it go viral?

Like every virus on the internet, there is no exact explanation as to why Katy from “Goat Story” went viral. However, there are some possibilities. We'll dwell on them in the next few paragraphs - and we might have some spoilers.

The first one is that the animation is, shall we say… daring to be childish. Starting with Katy's design, which has full breasts and a very revealing cleavage. Also, in some very specific scene she appears almost naked.

In a certain scene, towards the end of the film, she is sentenced to be hanged and almost dies. However, we see that Jimmy's goat is hanged in place of our star - but wait, he was using an iron bar that saved him from death.

Another possible explanation is that there are some very unconventional scenes: like Katy pulling a cabbage out of her cleavage and a young man being beaten for urinating in church.

Finally, there is also the facial expression of Katy and the other characters, which are extremely cartoonish.
