The attractions that will take place at the MIS Experience are:

  • Views of Michelangelo's paintings from an unprecedented perspective, using giant projections on walls, ceilings and the reproduction of the famous mosaics on the floor;
  • A huge reproduction of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, unprecedented in Brazil, right in the heart of São Paulo;
  • A room dedicated to the artist, making it possible to discover more about the most iconic Renaissance arts and the history of Michelangelo, providing even more immersion.

The Sistine Chapel is one of several chapels in the Apostolic Palace, located in Vatican City, which is where the official residence of the world leader of the Roman Catholic Church, the Pope. The Chapel itself is within the Vatican Museums and is considered one of the marvels of the Renaissance period.

A major reason for this importance are the frescoes, with emphasis on the vault and the wall behind the altar, which outlines the Last Judgment. The Sistine Chapel artworks are not exclusively by Michelangelo, but also by other renowned artists such as Sandro Botticelli.

The exhibition will have 14 rooms, arranged in a thousand square meters, allowing what can be considered a visit to the Sistine Chapel itself, even without leaving the country. In the room that will be dedicated to immersion, technological resources will be used for this purpose, such as animations and sound. Visitors visiting the exhibition will receive details of each group of frescoes created by Michelangelo.

Tickets can be purchased by exhibition website.
