The other day I found, at the entrance of my building, a little girl in a white blouse, blue skirt, bow in her hair and a smile on her lips. We talked while she waited for the school bus. I asked her if she was missing her vacation. He confessed that he did, but said that school was great too, that he loved school. Opening the shiny folder, she showed me the new, neatly covered books, the clean notebooks, the pencil box. He spoke enthusiastically about the teacher, who was a love, and her colleagues, very comrades, all her friends. He told me of his resolve to study hard, to do his homework properly, to behave very well and get good grades. She was full of interest, happy, in fact, to be going to school, and it was a joyous little goodbye she gave me when she got on the bus.
