Recently, the TripAdvisor platform released its list of the best beaches in the world. In it, it is possible to see that Brazil has three locations among the top 10. In fact, it is the only country among all participants that appears with more than one beach. So, check out the following 2022 ranking of the 10 best beaches in the world below.

This list is formed based on the opinions formed by tourists who visit the beaches. According to the TripAdvisor travel website, the analysis criteria take into account the quantity and quality of the tourists' own reviews.
However, this evaluation is only allowed for those active platform users between January 1st and December 31st, 2021. In this way, the 10 best beaches in the world refer to the recurring evaluations over the previous year.
Even though Brazil has appeared in three respected positions, the country did not finish on the podium. These first three places in the ranking went to the Turks and Caicos Islands, Cuba and Australia, respectively. However, the beaches on the Brazilian coast occupy the 4th, 7th and 9th position on the list.
The Australian beach Whitehaven Beach, on Whitsunday Island, was the first in the previous year's ranking, but this time it wasn't even in the top 10.
Finally, it is important to highlight that these assessments directly influence the beach tourism market worldwide. This is because the TripAdvisor platform is one of the most popular when it comes to searching for tickets, accommodation and even tourist recommendations.
