Text I
None of us
We leave a friendly conversation for later
for the good
that it was an exit
We left the exchange of affection for later
We let the routine be our way
We leave the search for shelter for later
We fail to see ourselves making any sense
Tomorrow or the day after, whatever if after it's never again...never
We no longer feel what we felt
And that brought color to our daily lives
We stopped saying what we said
We fail to take joy into account
We let it slip through our fingers
The chance to keep our lives together
Tomorrow or the day after, whateverif then it's never again…never again

Text II
Patativa do Assaré
Tomorrow, sweet illusion and fagueira,
Beautiful rose wet by dew:
Tomorrow, I will finish my work,
Tomorrow, very early, I will go to the fair.
In this way, in passing life,
Like the one who lives off the deck,
One waits for the improvement in the sweater
And another, the happy cure of blindness.
With the beautiful tomorrow that eludes us,
Each one walks happy and smiling,
Like someone going after a talisman.
With a chest full of hope,
However, we never have the memory
That death also comes tomorrow.

Together with your teacher (a) do the listening, oral and collective interpretation of the music. Then, make the oral and collective interpretation of the poem “Tomorrow”.
Suggestion I - After analyzing the texts above, produce a poem with the title “Tomorrow”. In it you should write as if “tomorrow” was a very special day or your last day. How would that day be? Report it. Your poem may have white rhymes or verses. Make a sonnet (14 verses divided into 2 triplets and two quartets). After production and correction by the teacher, make the illustration, soon after, the exhibition of the poems of the whole class.
Suggestion II - Paraphrase: The Paraphrase is a text that seeks to make more clear and objective what was said in another text. Therefore, it is always the rewriting of an existing text, a kind of 'translation' within the language itself.
Therefore you should:
– produce a narrative text that paraphrases one of the above texts;
– respect the narrative development that permeates the chosen text, avoiding the “inversion” of events;
– use an objective language, which sometimes differs from the poetics used in poems and/or songs. At the end, present the work developed.
Good work!
