the feathers

Leleca rebuilt her nest with some feathers, adding one each day, but it seemed they were getting smaller.
“How strange,” exclaimed the hen. – Who's kidding me?
Leleca decided to spy on who was doing it. In fact, early in the morning, she saw the Arno sparrow, which gently plucked a feather with its beak.
'Got you, you sparrow,' she screamed the furious hen.
– But… But… Sorry, Leleca! – chirped Arno. - My puppy is sick, and Mia fears he feels cold.

Immediately, Leleca gathered up the chicken coop.
– Each one must give a feather to Mia and Arno's puppy! – she explained.
All the chickens went to Mia and Arno's nest to make a beautiful feather quilt.
– One below, one above! – said Leleca.
– The duvet looks great, thanks! - Shouted the bird, while his mother thanked Leleca.
