The tornado passed through Amory High School, Mississippi, on Friday, March 24, and the images are frightening. But on the bright side, this only happened at night, so there was no one in the building at the time. Otherwise, the consequences could be devastating.

That video found its way onto the internet when the school's IT director, Sam Strickland, shared the footage the security cameras captured. In the record, it is possible to see the damage that the tornado did to the building in all the details. We see pieces of the ceiling falling abruptly, as well as other details of the building going up in the air.
The video ends because at one point the wind was strong and the filming equipment did not escape. Still, it was enough to show the power of this tornado and the risks it poses. In this case, Strickland went to the school the next day and checked the entire camera server in search of the record.
The end of March was a time of great fear for Americans living in Mississippi, Alabama and the region. After all, the news was that a tornado with a high degree of danger would soon arrive and that people would need to take all the necessary precautions. After the passage of this tornado, it was realized that all the predictions were right, unfortunately.
That's because, in just a few days, the tornado was enough to generate dozens of deaths and hundreds of injuries across the region. This made the President of the United States, Joe Biden, decide to declare a state of emergency in these states. In all, the tornado left 160 kilometers of destruction and huge financial losses.
