Apple decided to launch itself into the smart glasses market, and with that marked the launch of its mixed reality glasses for the spring. The glasses will be the brand's first launch in this field, which is still very new and unpopular. Apple has been working on this for a long time and intends to launch other products after the glasses, such as, for example, a mixed reality helmet.
Information about the glasses
Famous for knowing confidential information about the company, Mark Gurman released some information about the mixed reality glasses, such as, for example, its launch, which will take place in the spring – here, the glasses will be available for sale in the autumn of this year. Apple actually intended to launch the device in January, but had to delay the launch.
In addition, Mark Gurman also stated that a prototype of the mixed reality glasses has already been sent to several developers, but unfortunately the prototypes sent had hardware and software problems that, in order to be solved, Apple decided to summon employees from other projects to advance the process.
Gurman reported that the mixed reality helmets also already have a release date, scheduled for the spring. Further information will be available at WWDC, and sales will begin at the end of the year.
A little more about Apple glasses
Apple has been working on these glasses for some time, according to Kuo. The company has even been introduced to the device. According to some sources, the operating system is called xrOS and may be named Reality. Also, it might be coming in two versions: Reality One and Reality Pro.
