NAME:
Mrs. Hippo is doing the kitchen club in his house today.
All the little friends are there.
On the table, there are bowls full of good pieces of bananas, cheese, grapes, strawberries and other fruits. And a plate of cookies.
– I thought about having skewers snacks – says Mrs. hipoppotamus. She picks up a pack of wooden skewers. They look like giant people's sticks, with points on both sides. – This is very easy and fun to do – Mrs. Hippo says. – Choose a skewer, some fruit and cheese.
The little friends choose their favorites.
'All you have to do is put a piece of fruit on the skewer, then a piece of cheese, then another, more cheese, and so on – Mrs. Hippopotamus explains, showing how to do it.
Friends stick toothpicks in fruit and cheese.
Each skewer is different!
The snake Silvia sticks the toothpick in her hand.
- There! - She screams. 'It doesn't really hurt,' she laughs.
– Now, please help yourselves to the cookies. I'll bring you some dishes and juices - Mrs. Hippo says.
They all start eating and talking.
– They're delicious! – Silvia exclaims happily.
