NAME:
A graceful young peasant girl, who had just collected milk from the cows, came back from the field with a bucket full, almost overflowing, balancing it with great skill and elegance on her head.
As she walked happily inside her head, thoughts kept coming. And with herself, oblivious to everything, she planned the activities and events she imagined as right for the days to come.
“This good, rich milk,” she thought, “It will give me a wonderful butter cream. The butter I'll take to the market, and with the money I'll buy a lot of eggs to hatch. And How graceful all the chicks will be when they hatch. I can even see them running and scratching around the yard. When May 1st arrives, I will sell to everyone and with the money I will buy a lovely and beautiful new dress. With him, when I go to the market, I will certainly be the center of attention. All boys will look at me. They will then come and try to flirt with me, but I will immediately send everyone to mind their own business!"
As she thought about what her new life would be like from those longed-for events, she disdainfully threw back her head, and inadvertently dropped the bucket of milk on the floor. And all the milk was poured out and absorbed into the earth, and with it the butter, and the eggs, and the chicks, and the new dress, and all the pride whose illusion had already been made real, melted away.
