According to the Minister of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight against Hunger, Wellington Dias, the families will receive a minimum amount of BRL 600, plus BRL 150 per child up to 6 years old and another amount per person.
“The program will also have a rule that takes into account a per capita [per person], the proportion, the size of each family, so that we have more justice in this income transfer”, said the minister, in an interview to the press, after participating in an event at the Planalto Palace, last Tuesday (28).
With the return of the Lula (PT) government, to guarantee receipt of the Bolsa Família, it will be necessary to maintain the children's school attendance and the updating of the vaccination booklet. In the former Auxílio Brasil, these requirements were not mandatory. In addition, the program must focus on updating the Single Registration and integration with the Unified Social Assistance System (Suas), with an active search to include those outside the program and the review of benefits with irregularities.
According to the Minister of Development, there will be integration with 32 other government programs aimed at the quality of life of the population. Bolsa Família is considered one of the largest income transfer programs in the world and has been internationally recognized as an effective initiative in combating poverty and promoting inclusion Social.
