You may not even know that you have a philosopher inside you, you may not even think you want to have one, but I can guarantee that he (or she) not only exists, but also, after you let that pop in a bit, you'll be glad you did, because philosophy can take you to some amazing places without you having to leave your seat or seat on the subway at 7:15 am in the morning; and it can show you some extraordinary things, even if you don't look too hard. In fact, it can show that the places you go and the things you see every day are quite incredible, that is, philosophy can sharpen your appreciation of the world – and your mind – by Same time.
Conflicts of opinion are a concern when you need to decide something important, since, at that moment, every conflict must be resolved. But until that point you will find that there are great arguments for an answer, but there are also other great arguments for an opposite answer. A particular idea may seem very good until you suddenly find an objection to it; but then you could almost immediately think of a way to answer that objection. Philosophical reflection is like this: nothing static and fixed, but continuous and dynamic. The conflict of opinions is not just something to be concerned about, it's actually precisely how things should be, because it's just once you have considered a particular issue, from all sides, you can make an accurate decision about what think.
Unfortunately, the philosopher within me cannot make this decision for you, __________ his role, as tell me, it's just waking up the philosopher within you and making him start thinking – not saying what he should think. That is your philosopher's task.
