Yasemn Kaptan, a resident of Tottenham, in North London (England), only has one meal a week, and the reason is beyond unusual.
Yasemn, 46, eats only once to save money and buy food for her six cats. In the weekly meal, Yasemn consumes vegetables with barbecue sauce. On the “diet” days, Yasemn has lunch and mint tea for dinner. With this diet, in one year, she lost about 32 kilos.

The woman receives an allowance of 69 pounds (about R$ 443) per week. Of the amount, 60 pounds (R$ 385) are for the animals. She also receives a monthly £400 (£400) disability benefit due to osteoporosis, which pays her rent and bills, according to the Coventry Telegraph.
“Cat litter, cat food, cat biscuits and special milk eat up all my money. I can only pay my phone bill,” she declared. “There's nothing I can do. My cats have been with me for 17 years, they are my babies,” she added.
Yasemn started to raise the cats when she worked in a store, and the salary was enough to take care of her and the kittens. However, with osteoporosis, she had to quit her job.
