According to the Center for Company-School Integration (CIEE), around 61,000 internship and apprenticeship vacancies were opened from October 2022 to January 2023. This number is 11.9% higher compared to the same period last year. Internships represent 83% of new opportunities, while 17% of vacancies are for apprenticeships.
According to Humberto Casagrande, president of CIEE, after the drop that occurred due to the pandemic, employability is increasing again, reaching the same numbers as in 2019.
The vacancies available for apprenticeship will be determined after the result of the vote on the Apprentice Statute that will take place in the Federal Chamber. However, there is hope that the new statute will have a significant boost to job growth.
In order for students to apply for vacancies, it is necessary to register on the CIEE Portal and put up-to-date and correct zip code, email and contact number information.
In addition, the site offers several courses that can enrich the candidate's curriculum. They are made available online, through the Saber Virtual platform, and address topics such as IT, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Communication and much more.
