Is getting tired running slowly a symptom?

Many people get scared when they cannot perform “simple” exercises when starting their journey in the practice of physical activities. In the case of fatigue, in particular, it is common for people to believe they are sick, or have a heart problem that prevents them from performing better.

However, we must remember that getting tired easily is actually one of the main symptoms of a sedentary lifestyle. That is, those who do not practice physical exercises regularly will certainly face a lot of difficulty at first.

This does not necessarily mean that you are sick. In fact, your pace and performance will probably improve a lot if, instead of giving up because of the difficulty, you stick with regular practice. After all, that's the only way to develop physical endurance and enable your body to run more!

Tips for those who want to run more

Just wanting to start doing physical exercises you should be proud. It means that you care about your body and want to improve your quality of life. So respect your limits in that first moment and do what you can. Also, there are some tips that will help you run more. Check out!

  • Challenge yourself: run within what you can, but every day add small challenges to encourage your body to develop endurance;
  • Alternate running with walking: you don't necessarily need to run for two hours, as few can handle that! Therefore, one of the ways to improve performance is to perform runs interspersed with walking;
  • Eat well before and after running: Nutrition is fundamental for the good practice of physical exercises. So, don't go running with a full stomach, and eat what is recommended before and after the activity.
