Put warm compresses over the diseased ear. The compresses can be hot cloths, hot water bags, etc. Be careful that it is not too hot and burns the person's ear. These pads are to be placed over the ear, as if they were covering it, not to be placed inside the ear. Never put anything hot in your ear, such as drops, oils, etc., unless it is prescribed by your doctor. Don't let the person blow their nose hard, this will increase the pain. This is all just to relieve the pain, only the doctor can tell what the person has and prescribe medicine. Stay tuned!
