Millennials Courtney and Matt are uncovering secret rooms, hiding places and unimaginable compartments in their 130-year-old home. This all happened thanks to a mysterious and unexpected letter from the "last survivor" of the family that once owned the residence.
Courtney revealed that they received a letter that had the buyers as the final address and revealed the story on TikTok. Possibly someone from Canada had sent the letter, as the first address was from there.

The letter began with an introduction and the person identified himself as "the last surviving member of the Madison family", the former owner of the house, revealing that he had grown up in that place. The riddle made the couple shudder when the letter said there were secret rooms in that place.
They bought the house and didn't know what it was really about, because whoever was selling it could have omitted some information - as they really did. Immediately, they realized that the information about the house was not as obvious as they thought.
The video on TikTok reached more than 1 million views reporting the tour they took in residence, which has a Victorian-era style, so that platform users could see the hiding places.
First, they were told of a secret liquor cabinet that was above the fireplace. The place was hidden behind a mirrored panel and had rosé wines from the 70's and a carbernet sauvignon from 1989.
After this discovery, they proceeded to the bathroom. They said it was the scariest find among the others, as it really looked like a very abandoned place in the attic. To them, the place looked like some kind of room the previous owners used to stay in.

They saw a small door, still locked, opposite the bathroom. Then they discovered a large space. In it, they are even planning to rebuild the environment to occupy the “new” room.
Users, of course, were excited to follow the saga. One of them compared the experience to a kind of 'treasure hunt'. The couple also revealed that they had left a lot of old furniture so they could do everything.
It's the kind of story you only see in a horror movie, but I'm glad that in this discovery things worked out!
