O Nubank is a Brazilian fintech founded in 2013. It is known for its advanced technology and intuitive application, which allows users to easily manage their finances. In addition, Nubank has stood out for offering a customer service experience without queues or bureaucracy, with quick and efficient responses via chat or app.
Fintech announced, about a year ago, the launch of its new credit aimed at a higher income public, Ultraviolet. Since its launch, the product has been highly coveted by customers who want to be “premium”.
If you are interested in the card, know that it can be requested by any Nubank customer with an account opened at the institution, even those who have just opened a bank account. At the end of last year, the bank reached the mark of 70 million customers.
Want to be Ultraviolet? Just download the Nubank application, open an account and request the product. You will undergo a credit review and, if approved, you will be notified via email or in-app message.
To have the Ultravioleta card, you have to pay BRL 49 per month. However, the amount is not charged if the user spends more than BRL 5 thousand per month on the invoice or has at least BRL 50 thousand invested in Nubank and/or NuInvest.
Is this where they asked for cashback? The card has an automatic 1% cashback on all purchases and the returned balance yields 200% of the CDI. The rate is set at 13.75% per annum.
An Ultravioleta client can invest in Nu Ultravioleta Multimercado and Nu Ultravioleta Ações investment funds, which until then were open to all clients. The minimum amount to invest is R$ 500.
In September of last year, Nu Ultravioleta Multimercado had a return of 1.96%, or 182% of the CDI. Nu Ultravioleta Ações has returned 19.31% since April 2020.
