This occupation, predominant in civil construction, is characterized by a large portion of self-employed or unregistered workers.
As civil construction is a field of activity that depends on the volume of investments, public and private, and financing conditions for homeowners, there is no forecast for the sector to recover if the current situation is maintained economic.
Another relevant factor to be considered about this sector is the introduction of new technologies that save a large amount of labor.
However, if the macroeconomic policy orientation changes, it is possible that this occupation will expand in the coming years.
