As of this Monday (3rd), the deadline for making the justification request began, which runs until April 14th, through the exam website. However, it is important to remember that the justification request must be accompanied by supporting documents, in accordance with the requirements requested in the notice.

Inep, an autarchy linked to the Ministry of Education (MEC), will be responsible for evaluating the documentation and will then disclose the result of the requests from April 24th, through the Encceja System. If the request is rejected, the participant must refund the amount of BRL 40 to Inep.
After approval of the justification for absence, the participant must still register for Encceja 2023, which will take place from May 22 to June 2. It is important to emphasize that the approval of the justification does not mean that the registration is automatically carried out.
Since 2002, Encceja has been carried out by Inep in collaboration with the state and municipal departments of Education, enabling the resumption of the school path for young people and adults who did not complete their studies at the age appropriate.
The exam is voluntary and free of charge, assessing skills, abilities and knowledge acquired in the school or out-of-school process, and establishing a national reference for the evaluation of these students.
In addition, the Education departments and federal institutes use the results as a parameter to certify the participants at the level of completion of primary and secondary education, contributing to the improvement of the quality of education in the country.
Encceja is also important for the implementation of policies and procedures aimed at the development of Brazilian education, in addition to providing indicators on the educational system.
Finally, it is important to emphasize the importance of participating in the Encceja and seeking to complete one's studies, as this can open doors to new opportunities in professional and personal life.
