Check who is able to withdraw the FGTS in April

In April there will be two groups that will have the right to make the extraordinary withdrawal of the FGTS. As of the 20th, Caixa will withdraw up to R$ 1,000 per worker from active and inactive accounts of the Guarantee Fund. The measure will benefit more than 42 million people who will be able to redeem the values.

Since we are dealing with an extraordinary withdrawal, this requires government authorization. As a result, President Jair Bolsonaro edited Provisional Measure No. 1,105, published in the Official Gazette at the end of March.

The FGTS withdrawal comprises a set of measures aimed at rescuing the Brazilian economy. In years like 2019 and 2020, the government released the withdrawal of part of the balance with the same objective.

In 2021, the measure is eagerly awaited in view of the impacts caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, but the government took the decision not to release the withdrawal of values.

Extraordinary FGTS dates

Caixa announced the full schedule of the extraordinary withdrawal of the FGTS in 2022. The bank will release amounts for new groups on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which starts deposits on April 20th and ends on June 15th.

Check out which groups will receive the FGTS in April:

• April 20 – FGTS withdrawal available for those born in January;
• April 30 – FGTS withdrawal released for people born in February.

The FGTS withdrawal calendar remains in the month of May, which will be the month in which Caixa will make the values ​​available to seven other different groups. Those who will receive it next month will be those workers who were born between March and September.

The last three groups of the calendar – the birthdays of October, November and December – will have released the looting in June.

For those workers who have a balance in more than one Fund account, the government determined the following order:

• first, amounts from accounts related to extinct work contracts will be withdrawn, starting with the account that has the lowest balance;
• then the money will come out of the other linked accounts, starting with the account with the lowest balance.

FGTS 2022: how to withdraw amounts

Caixa Tem will create a digital savings account in the name of the worker to deposit the extraordinary withdrawal of the FGTS.

In this way, it will be possible to move the balance to pay the slips, make purchases on the virtual card, pay for purchases in markets, pharmacies and bakeries with QR Code.

2. Then click on the “Withdraw FGTS” button.
3. After that, enter your CPF number and click on the “Confirm” button;
4. Afterwards, enter the 6-digit code generated in Caixa Tem;
5. After that, press the “Confirm” button;
6. Then choose a withdrawal amount and press the “Enter” button.
7. Finally, wait for the money to be released.
