Within Auxílio Brasil, Vale Gás works as a supplementary allowance. It was approved by the Federal Government as a way to mitigate the effects of inflation, which made a traditional national cylinder of 13 kg to be sold for more than R$110.
In view of this, there was an adjustment in the value of the benefit to R$55 in order to cover half of the amount charged per canister. To gain access to the gas voucher, however, you must meet certain criteria. Check out what they are!
For those who have monthly family income equal to or less than half of a minimum wage and are enrolled in the CadÚnico, can participate in the gas voucher program. Furthermore, in the event that at least one member of the family receives the Continuing Provision Benefit (BPC), which proves that there are no ways to provide for the maintenance of their condition or that of the family, may also have access to the benefit of the gas voucher.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the aid will be offered preferably in the case of families in which women who have been victims of domestic violence and who are under protective measures in a state of urgency.
To find out if you are entitled to the gas voucher, you must first enter the Auxílio Brasil application and register. After completing your registration, the option to consult values will appear on the initial screen. By clicking there you will be able to see if you have payments scheduled to be deposited, if so, it means that you are on the list to receive the benefit.
