Learn all about the gas voucher program in 2022

The program gas voucher aims to help low-income families buy the 13 kg gas cylinder. Payment is made on a bimonthly basis – that is, every 2 months – in an amount that corresponds to the price of the gas cylinder. Increase in the value of Vale-Gas

At the beginning of the second half of 2022, the value of the gas voucher was readjusted. Before, the government made a deposit corresponding to 50% of the value of the gas cylinder – 53 reais. Now, in August, the amount was transferred in a total of 110 reais. This amount will be paid in 3 installments, in the months of August, October and December.

1. Who can receive the gas voucher?

To receive the gas voucher, you must meet certain requirements. Are they:

• Enroll in the Single Registry;
• Have a family income of up to half the minimum wage;
• Be a beneficiary of the Continued Cash Benefit or the Brazil Aid.

The next month to release the gas voucher will be October. The deposit will be made from October 18th, and the order will follow the end of the Identification Number (NIS).
