Regardless of the available balance in the FGTS accounts, it will only be possible to withdraw R$ 1 thousand. All Brazilian workers who have a balance in the fund can make the withdrawal. The amount will be deposited in Caixa Tem digital savings and, if the beneficiary does not have it, Caixa will open the account automatically.
Payment of the extraordinary FGTS began on April 20. The last round took place on Saturday, May 21, contemplating those born in the month of July. Check below the payments that will be made later this month.
In total, around 42 million Brazilian workers will be able to withdraw the extraordinary FGTS. As for checking the balance, it can already be done through the following channels: Caixa website, FGTS application and Caixa Econômica Federal branches.
It is possible to use the balance to pay slips or the virtual debit card for payments and purchases, all through the Caixa Tem app. Also, the amount can be transferred to other accounts through Pix. It is also possible to withdraw the extraordinary FGTS at Caixa's self-service terminals or at lottery outlets.
Not everyone needs to withdraw the amount. It is possible to indicate that you do not wish to receive the extraordinary FGTS online, through the FGTS Application, or in person, at one of the Caixa Econômica branches.
In addition, after making the credit in the Social Digital Savings Account, it is also possible to request the undoing of automatic credit through the same service channels, in this case, until November 10th from 2022.
