Public tender with a salary of R$19,000 is announced; check details

The Rio Branco Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MRE) released the 2022 call for tenders for the diplomat career. The opportunity will have 34 higher education vacancies available in any area and initial remuneration equivalent to R$ 19,199.96. In addition, the application of the test will be in all 26 capitals of the Brazilian State and in the Federal District.

To apply, participants must prove a minimum age of 18 years, desired education of higher education, be up to date with electoral and military obligations, among other requirements demanded in the notice. Read on to find out about the details of the event.

Diplomat career benefits and aids

In addition to the high salary for the diplomat career, candidates approved for this role will be entitled to some specific benefits, as some are exclusive to the career, namely:

• Functional residence for those approved at embassies outside the country (where rents tend to be more expensive);
• Reimbursement of rent, if the approved does not live in a functional residence in Brazil;
• Additional qualification;
• Meal allowance of BRL 458;
• Child care allowance of BRL 321.

In this way, those who are interested in participating in the contest and wish to try for a vacancy can register until March 20, 2022, at 10 pm, through the official website. In addition, the registration fee is set at R$ 224.00.

test steps

The tests are divided into three stages, all of an eliminatory nature. However, the second and third stages have a qualifying character as well. So they are:

• First step: objective questions (classifying and eliminatory), distributed among the English language subjects, Portuguese language, national history (Brazil), world history, international politics, geography, economy and right.
• Second stage: discursive questions with the presence of subjects such as Portuguese and English.
• Third step: discursive issues of Brazilian history, international politics, geography, economy, law, Spanish language and French language.
