NAME:
An elephant and a tailor were best friends. Every day, the elephant went to the tailor's shop and kept him company!
One day, the tailor had to leave his shop to visit his ailing cousin in a distant village. He asked his apprentice to run the shop while he was away. Only the apprentice was an impertinent man who hated animals.
The next day, when the elephant went to see the tailor, he found the apprentice in his friend's chair. Seeing the elephant, the apprentice went to him, carrying a coconut in one hand and a needle in the other. He tricked the poor creature and pierced its trunk with the needle.
The other day, the elephant went to the store with its trunk full of water. Upon seeing the apprentice, he poured all the water on him and continued on his way.
Never again was the apprentice so cruel to an animal!
