Chronic myeloid leukemia
Leukemia (CML) causes the bone marrow to produce an abnormally high number of blood cells in the body, causing them to grow out of control. This type of cancer is more common in adults, but in very rare cases it can be found in children.
Glioblastoma
This cancer is a rapidly growing and aggressive brain tumor. Glioblastoma is actually the most common malignant brain tumor. However, even so, the evidence of the disease is around 0.59 to 5 cases per 100,000 people.
Chordoma
Chordoma is a very uncommon type of cancer. Accordomas are tumors that occur mainly in the spine or at the base of the skull. They are such a rare type of cancer that only one in 1 million people a year may get the disease.
Juxtaglomerular cell tumor
There are only 100 cases of juxtaglomerular cell tumor reported since 1967, the year this cancer was first identified. This type is a renal tumor of the juxtaglomerular cells and usually causes hypertension.
thymic carcinoma
This rare type of cancer occurs when malignant cancer cells form on the surface outside of the thymus, a lymphatic organ located in the anterior and superior part of the thoracic cavity, close to the heart. The cells grow quickly and can easily spread to other parts of the body.
hepatoblastoma
It is a rare and malignant tumor that grows in the liver. It occurs mainly in childhood, in the first three years of life, being rare after 5 years of age. About two out of three affected children are successfully treated with surgery and chemotherapy.
