This Tuesday, March 14, Rui Costa, Minister of the Civil House, informed that the Federal Government will come up with new proposals for action in health. According to the minister, the project will be similar to the 'More Doctors Program’, founded in 2013 during the government of Dilma Rousseff.

The minister's speech took place at the Planalto Palace after a meeting with President Lula.
“We are going to increase the service offer not only quantitatively, but qualitatively, further enabling basic assistance in our country, in addition to offer these doctors, returning to the level we had of guaranteeing all cities, regions, districts, distant locations”, indicated Rui Coast.
The proposal does not yet have a name defined by the government and has been called 'More Health for Brazilians'. The goal is for newly graduated physicians to be included in the program and to be able to work in regions lacking public assistance.
The minister does not guarantee that foreign doctors should act in the new proposal, guaranteeing that the priority will be for Brazilian professionals.
The exclusivity response took place by questioning the old project 'More Doctors', when the Government Brazilian federal created a partnership with professionals from Cuba to work in these regions far from urban centers.
Another novelty also emerged for education, as Rui Costa guaranteed that literacy projects at the right age and full school education in municipal institutions will soon be announced.
Also on Tuesday, president Lula met with the ministers of Health, Social Security and Women. The purpose of the meetings is to ensure that each ministry is developing its projects for the first 100 days of the government.
Lula requested that the ministers be able to present the projects in a unitary way.
