This is the fifth edition of the modality in which students from public and private schools, medalists or with excellent performance in high school knowledge competitions will be accepted in the process.
In addition to the increase in the number of applicants, the University highlighted that the number of women participating in the selection also increased, jumping from 38.4% of the total to 40.6%.
The most popular courses are in the area of exact sciences, with 89,5% of those interested. According to the director of Comvest, José Alves de Freitas Neto, traditionally the exact sciences courses are mostly occupied by men. The increase in female participants in the selection process indicates that the University has made progress in its gender inclusion policy related to the Knowledge Olympics.
As explained by the University, participants in this type of ticket do not need to take any test. In each course, students are called in descending order of the score obtained in the Olympiad or in the knowledge competition, for the course in 1st option, in accordance with the rules of the Announcement.
If there are unfilled vacancies, candidates who opted for the course as a 2nd option are invited in descending order.
The call for enrollment will be made in up to six calls per course, and the first call will be released on February 17th. Enrollments will be carried out in a manner online, on the Comvest page, from the 23rd of February.
