Surely you already know that the FGTS is a worker's financial reserve. Thus, the money due to the 8% deducted every month from the salary of employees who work with a formal contract accumulates.
The benefit is withheld, but you can withdraw it in some situations, the best known of which is unfair dismissal. However, you also have access in cases of serious illness, retirement, public calamity (such as the COVID-19 pandemic) and others.
However, to facilitate the process, it is now possible to consult the FGTS value and issue an extract through the application. Just enter the FGTS and follow the steps below!
Open the FGTS application and access the “Enter the application” option. Then, fill in your Individual Taxpayer Registration number (CPF) and tap “I'm not a robot”.
Review the requested images, select the corresponding ones, tap “Check” and then “Next”. Now enter the registered password and click on “Login”.
As soon as you log in to the application, tap on the “Total FGTS Balance” option on the home screen. That way, the value that appears is for all your accounts!
After viewing the total, look for the “View statement” option, located below your balance in small, yellow letters. The page that opens provides details of all your movements with this account.
If you want to withdraw a statement, just tap on “Generate PDF statement”, an option found below the full amount!
