According to a statement made by Fernando Bezerra, the proposal's rapporteur, that the Auxílio Brasil would increase to R$ 600.00, the estimate is that the new value will be passed on to the Brazilian people from the 1st of August. This is because the Ministry of Citizenship needs to wait for the approval of PEC 1/11 in Congress.
Thus, the July installment will still be at the old amount, R$ 400.00, the same amount that families have received since the beginning of 2022.
Furthermore, it is important to highlight the increase in the amount of the program installment, as it will be temporary and is expected to end on December 31, 2022. Thus, families participating in the benefit will receive only 5 installments of R$ 600.00 until the end of 2022.
