The first new feature that Instagram made available to its Brazilian users was the sharing of small notes in the DM part (direct messages or 'direct'). Through this tool, the user can indirectly share small notes through their message box. Just write what you want there, and all followers will have access when they enter your DM's. However, it will also be possible to select who you want to see your notes, selecting everyone or just your “close friends” list.
According to Instagram, the purpose of this feature is to give the user a new possibility to express themselves. These short notes will be available in the followers DM for a period of 24 hours.
2. Refer friends to participate in 'trends' through "your turn"
The second novelty consists in the indication of friends so that they participate in the trends of the moment through the “your turn” sticker in the stories. This novelty is great for increasing user interaction, in addition to being a source of fun since they are trends with different and animated themes. The story that has a sharing sticker will now display the “pass the turn” option at the bottom, which will allow you to tag friends to interact. In this way, the selected friend will receive a notification so that he can decide whether or not to participate.
3. Creating shared collections
The third and last novelty allows the creation of collections with friends, with this tool, the user can invite his friends to create a collection from the sharing of interests look alike.
